Only a true artist can hand dye cord such that every color is luscious and vibrant. These are truly spectacular cords that we were fortunate to obtain. This is the standard weight cord. Some call it 2mm. Others call it 1mm. It's a debate that can't be won. It is the standard, most popular size. Rayon over a cotton core. Each package is 12 yards long.
A standard 8 bobbin round braid made of this cord needs a 6mm (medium) end cap. You might be able to squeeze it into a 5mm if you bound it really tight. But the 6mm is an easy, perfect fit.

Suggested washing instructions: Hand wash with a small amount of mild detergent. Rinse in lukewarm water. Add a small amount of fabric softener. Squeeze out excess water. Snapping can also work well. Lay flat to dry.
