Kojaku in Japanese means Peacock which makes it a perfect word to describe this special group of hand dyed ribbon. The ribbon is 5/16" wide made of luster nylon. It crinkles a bit to give additional texture to the braid. When braiding with Kojaku you will see all the vivid colors but not the structure of the braid.
Washing instructions:
Use cold water and very mild soaps that are apropriate for fine fibers.
Soak the garment for a very brief time, and then rinse in clear water.
The first time you wash your item, you might see a bit of color in the water. Add 1/4 cup of white vinegar to the last rinse.
To see how it looks braided there are pictures in KTG-KOJ008.
