Accent Bead Design has been in business since 2001. It started as a way for owner, Karen DeSousa, to market and sell her beaded ornament books and kits. As Karen's interest evolved, so did the business. In 2004 she developed the Kumihimo To Go brand and now sells Japanese braiding books, kits, fibers, end caps and tools. She continues to create new beaded ornament books and kits as well as expand the KTG line of products.
As a small, privately held company, we work daily to exceed the expectations of our customers. We also are aware that we are citizens of the planet and try to run our company as environmentally green as possible.
