I have both your Kumihimo books and I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate the way in which you teach your readers how to go about braiding.  The photos along with the step-by-step instructions are absolutely clear.  At first, when I saw someone doing the braiding, I thought "No way can I do that!", and even when I first looked at the book, I thought the same.  Then I read the instructions and followed them through and they were so clear and logical.  So many times people either give you just the picture or just the written description, or they leave out something basic, figuring that you already know it.  You, however, give your reader everything he/she needs, right from the start to the finish.  I just did the Laramie braid for my daughter's birthday present, and hung a beautiful one-of-a-kind glass pendant from it.  She was amazed and so impressed.  I amazed myself because it was so easy to do - all because of your instructional techniques.  Thanks so much.  I hope you're working on another book with more braid styles.  I'll be first in line to get it!  Best wishes and many thanks.  (3/30/10)

Canadian ...I love the disk..so portable...it has given me so many ideas and
helped with adding beads...the layout it lovely...keep up the good

I have recently started learning how to do Kumihimo and have purchased your wonderful book, "Necklaces Braided on the Kumihimo Disk" which I love. It is so easy to follow.  I will be placing an order here real soon. Thank you again for giving us such a great book and wonderful instructions for a beginning kumihimo-er. 

I don't know if I have ever told you that I think you are great.  I love the way you package your kits!!  It makes it so much easier to make a project.  I have bought from others that basically put it all mixed up in baggies and leave us to figure out where everything goes.  I really appreciate the work you put into your packaging and also your books.  They are well written and very clear.  Your customer service is also excellent.  You have always been really quick to respond and quick with shipping.  I couldn't believe how fast I got the kits I ordered last week.  The were her on Saturday!  I have 1 done and 2 others in the works.   I have really enjoyed your patterns and kits!


Wow, that WAS fast. It arrived safely this morning. my comments? Wow what a package. Project box, everything so well labeled. And how much detail you put into your info sheet too. That is THE most professional kit I have EVER paid for. Even the most " well known" designers dont put THAT much effort into their packages. They have a lot to learn from you.


I think Book 6 is the best one yet!!! Keep up the good work. I specialize in beaded ornaments.
